"Get information about the server you're connecting to"
Host is a program with which you can obtain information from the Internet servers to which you connect. This program obtains the information through a series of interconnected servers that are scattered around the world
By default this program always converts the names and the addresses of mail or Internet. but these options can be modified by means of the commands [-d] or [-a] so that in addition it informs us of the name of the server and of the type of connection.
This program is free and is almost always able to indicate the name and remote address of the host to which we have connected
